Heliotrope

Heliotrope 1.0 is Roboteos’ solar tracking system for RVs and camper vans. The campaign had to sell an engineering idea to people whose interest is the trip, not the hardware.

The answer was to draw the trip. A flat isometric desert — highway, power line, cacti, a van parked on the shoulder with the array open — puts the product where it is used rather than on a white studio sweep.

The catalogue then does the technical work: specifications, peak power, extension and rotation ranges, and mounting, laid out so the numbers stay findable inside a document that is still recognisably part of the campaign.
